Syscoms College offers associate of science degree programs with options to specialize in Information Technology (IT), Business Administration, Human Resources, Retail Management and Management Information Systems (MIS). These programs have primarily been designed as a course of study for transfer into four-year baccalaureate programs or pursue immediate employment at entry-level positions. The first two years of lower division collegiate study is typically devoted to broad interdisciplinary courses in general education and to introductory and prerequisite lower division courses that prepare undergraduates to pursue a "declared major" or "area of concentration" at the upper division level of a four-year program.
These programs will also prepare students for a career with the knowledge, communication skills, ability, and technical competencies required in the modern workplace. The Associate of Science Degree programs accommodate both the student whose needs are satisfied by an AS certificate and the student who may wish to pursue study beyond the Associate of Science’s degree level. Students can also transfer in courses from a regionally or internationally accredited institution of higher education.
